NOT-SO SHORT SUMMARY
Dreamend is an upcoming 3D platformer with a comically cartoony and pixelated art style. This game will serve both as a long but fun experience, or a high-octane game for those substance-snortin' speedrunners out there, featuring quick & tight platforming with multiple complex movesets waiting to be mastered!
Each level has a unique theme that sets them apart from each other and introduces a new gimmick or two for the player to work with, with all levels also featuring an escape sequence at the end where the player must quickly make their way back to the entrance of the level through an altered route before the time's up to truly finish it, and get a letter grade depending on just how well they performed. Video games like Pizza Tower and Wario Land 4 mainly inspire the game, if you couldn't tell.
THE STORY THUS FAR...
The story begins with our brave & epic protagonist Adrick, a 15-year-old boy who just so happens to have gotten himself into a trauma-induced coma. He then wakes up, only to find himself not inside his usual bedroom, but inside of his own mind space, a dream-like cloudy landscape within his own thoughts.
It turns out that his mind space harbors a floating skull monster named Quietus, who has been transmuting Adrick's peaceful dreams into scary nightmares! Unfortunately for our pal Adrick here, the only way to wake up from this dream now is to purify the nightmares back into dreams and kick the ass of this nefarious Quietus fellow.

Very cool, love the style and personality, game's vibes are fantastic, but the game stutters so badly that it stops registering jump inputs completely. It's unbelievably frustrating, especially during the escape with incredibly tight time.
