Dreamend is an upcoming 3D platformer with a comically cartoony and pixelated art style. This game can serve both as a long but fun experience, or a high-octane game for those cocaine-snorting speedrunners out there, featuring quick & tight platforming with complex movesets waiting to be mastered. Each level has a unique theme that sets them apart from each other and introduces a new gimmick for the player to work with, with the levels also having escape sequences at the end where the player must quickly make their way back through the level again in an altered route under a specified amount of time to truly finish it, and get a letter grade depending on how well they performed. The game is mainly inspired by video games like Pizza Tower and Wario Land 4.
The story begins with our brave & epic protagonist Adrick, a 15-year-old boy who just so happens to have gotten himself into a trauma-induced coma. He then wakes up, only to find himself not inside his usual bedroom, but inside of his own headspace, a dream-like cloudy landscape in his own thoughts. Adrick then notices a large skull-like monster that’s seemingly transmuting all of Adrick's peaceful dreams into scary nightmares! Now Adrick has to hop from nightmare to nightmare, purifying them back to their normal conditions, and kick the ass of this mysterious entity in order to wake up from his weird little coma dream.
